Senior Developer - Power BI & Analytics

Job Description

As a Senior Power BI Developer at Sandvik Coromant, your role is crucial in ensuring seamless connectivity between a variety of machines located in different production units globally and the digital platform. You will be responsible for facilitating the collection, transfer, and integration of data for real-time analysis and decision-making. Your main responsibilities include:- Designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports for the Operations organization, transforming raw data into meaningful insights through interactive and easy-to-understand dashboards and reports.- Creating and managing relationships in Power BI Desktop.- Implementing row and object level security for different user groups.- Working with Databricks Notebooks for data processing and transformations.- Building and optimizing tables for scalable data storage.- Collaborating with stakeholders from Production Units to gather requirements.- Developing ETL processes for data movement and transformation in Azure Data Factory.Your profile should include:- 5 to 10 years of experience in data analysis, dashboard creation, and report automation using Power BI.- Master or bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or similar fields.- Extensive hands-on experience in writing SQL scripts.- Good exposure to Agile methodology with good Agile practices.- Strong knowledge of T-SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization.Qualifications:- Master or bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or similar fields.- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300).- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600).- Microsoft Certified: Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate (DP-500).- Databricks Data Engineer Associate.- Databricks Data Engineer Professional.- Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals.Sandvik offers a competitive total compensation package including comprehensive benefits, professional competence development, training, and opportunities for career advancement.To apply, you may upload your updated profile in Workday against JR Number Rhidden_mobile through your login, no later than 8 December 2025.
