Senior Finance Supervisor

Job Description

As a Senior Finance Supervisor at Medtronics Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune, you will play a crucial role in financial planning and reporting across key areas of the P&L (Revenue, Expenses) with a focus on standardization and automation. Your responsibilities will include:- Collating internal & external data and ensuring comparability across systems.- Leading teams and setting strategic direction for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support informed business decision-making.- Assuring data integrity through master data management and hierarchies.- Owning and updating planning assumptions and collaborating with various teams across the organization.- Producing driver-based forecasts for Commercial FP&A, trending & scenario planning.- Consolidating and submitting forecasts & results, ensuring accurate submission and finding efficiencies.- Analyzing outputs and highlighting inconsistencies.- Producing standard reports in Power BI.- Creating ad-hoc reports and presentations.- Developing bespoke analytics such as business cases and new business scenarios.Required Knowledge and Experience:- Minimum of 9 to 12 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or accounting within a multinational environment.- Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; an MBA/CPA is a plus.- Proven experience leading small teams, working cross-functionally, and driving process improvements.- Good knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with other financial systems like SAP, Hyperion, OneStream, Anaplan, etc, is beneficial.- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to translate data into actionable insights.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced international environment and fluent in English.In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to Medtronics mission of alleviating pain, restoring health, and extending life.
