Job Description

As a Finance Professional with minimum 7 years of work experience in FP&A Domain, you will be responsible for managing the monthly financial reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financials for Business unit P&L; and Balance Sheet. Your key responsibilities will include:- Managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual actual financial closes, meeting reporting deadlines- Preparing business unit P&L; and variance analysis of actuals vs plan- Having a positive command on departmental SGA, CGS Cost Centre Analysis, and identifying key drivers- Preparing management reports defining key indicators and metrics and providing comprehensive variance analysis- Supporting Annual Budgets, mid-year reviews, and forecast processes- Preparing financial presentations for BU Leadership teams- Driving Process optimization initiatives for efficiency- Continuously developing and researching accounting principles and practices including IFRS- Contributing to team playing, creative thinking, and solutions to help achieve organizational objectives- Providing statutory audit support and ensuring compliance with internal controls- Supporting Ad-hoc requests- Driving a continuous process improvement culture within the groupTo excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:- Hands-on experience in ERP, MS Office, and reporting tools- Analytical thinking ability and good team player- Internal & External Stakeholder Management skills- Cross-functional interactions with Operations & Sales teams- Self-starter mindset, suggesting and implementing process improvements- Qualified Chartered Accountant, CMA- Basic understanding of Accounting Principles and US GAAP- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- System Knowledge of Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management- Power BI or related presentation toolsPreferred qualifications that set you apart include:Our Offer to You:By joining Emerson, you will have the opportunity to make a difference through the work you do.
