Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Job Description

As a GCP-qualified cloud engineer for a large global investment bank under Project Cirrus, your primary focus will be on the FIC (fixed income and currencies) cloud migrations. Your role involves building, migrating, and deploying applications to GCP while ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements. It is essential to have knowledge of Financial Services/FIC, but your key skills should lie in Terraform module coding, Google infrastructure, and cloud-native services such as GCE, GKE, CloudSQL/Postgres, logging, and monitoring. Fluency in written and spoken English is crucial for effective knowledge transfer to the existing development and support teams. You will be working alongside experienced engineers within the bank to support the transition from project to product management.**Responsibilities:**- Design, develop, and maintain backend services- Integrate data from multiple databases and third-party services- Implement CI/CD and monitoring pipelines for continuous delivery- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Analytics teams for seamless deployment- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end components- Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment**Key Qualifications:**- Overall 7 to 10 years of experience as a Java Full Stack Developer with React- 5 years of experience developing in Core Java and Spring Framework- 4 years of experience developing in React and JavaScript- Strong proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot frameworks- Hands-on experience in Full Stack Development with ReactJS- Database expertise in BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and Oracle DB- Experience with PL/SQL pipelines scripting and performance tuning- Proficient in gRPC communication protocols- Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance- Exposure to Elastic Search and Splunk for log monitoring and troubleshooting- Familiarity with New Relic for application performance monitoring- Strong debugging and analytical skills for production issue triaging- Knowledge of version control (Git) and build tools (Maven/Gradle)- Good understanding of design patterns, data structures, and multithreading**Nice-to-Have Skills:**- Knowledge of containerization- Basic understanding of AI/ML integration for enterprise solutionsPlease note that this position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud-based compliance archive products within an agile development setup to support the bank with robust solutions for the next decade.
