As a FXOne Senior QA Engineer at Barclays, you will be leading the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and ensuring unparalleled customer experiences by utilizing cutting-edge technology to revolutionize digital offerings.**Key Responsibilities:**- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with quality standards.- Create and execute automated test scripts, leveraging testing frameworks and tools for early defect detection.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria.- Perform root cause analysis for identified defects, working closely with developers for defect resolution.- Promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing by participating in code reviews and collaborating with peers.- Stay informed of industry technology trends and actively contribute to the organizations technology communities.**Qualifications Required:**- Strong QA and test automation testing experience (8 years or more).- Experience in Java OR Python programming language (5 years or more).- Familiarity with continuous integration systems such as TeamCity or Jenkins, version control systems like GIT, and build automation tools such as Maven or Gradle.- Working knowledge of issue/bug tracking system like JIRA.- Good understanding of agile development, shift left, and TDD approaches.- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, project stakeholders, and users.- Experience with log file analysis, debugging, Messaging, and SQL for Server-side testing.- Familiarity with Gherkin structure for tests.This role will be based out of Pune.In addition, you should have the following desirable skillsets:- Experience in FX or Banking domain.- Effective communication skills and ability to work with global stakeholders.- Focus on excellence and understanding business priorities.Barclays values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship, along with the Barclays Mindset of Empower, Challenge, and Drive, are expected to be demonstrated by all colleagues.
