Job Description

    As a member of the global Fixed Income Rates and Credit markets technology team, you will play a crucial role in evolving the architecture of a complex system. Your key responsibilities will include:- Collaborating with global business and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements- Designing and implementing solutions, writing high-quality, production-grade code- Working across the full software development lifecycle in an agile team, using automated testing- Taking responsibility and ownership for the system, performing level 3 support to resolve production defects, and steering the production operations team in rollout and support-related mattersYou should possess the following qualifications and skills:- 8 to 14 years of professional experience in front-end development- Strong expertise in React.js, TypeScript, and Redux- Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and deployment best practices- Proficiency in Kafka and other messaging/middleware technologies for distributed systems- Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and accessibility standardsAdditionally, it is desirable that you have experience with Java Core, financial services or trading platforms (particularly in Rates and Credit domains), Agile/Scrum methodologies, testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library, and a good understanding of working in the front office area of any investment bank. Experience working with investment banks would be a plus.
