Job Description

    Role Overview:As a Service Engineer at Schindler Elevator Corporation, your main responsibility will be to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of existing elevator installations by executing call-backs, conducting safety inspections, and performing repair tasks with high technical precision. You will interact with customers to diagnose issues, collaborate with colleagues, and share insights to ensure efficient resolution of repair and service tasks.Key Responsibilities:- Execute call-backs on existing elevator installations, promptly addressing customer concerns to maintain optimal performance and reliability.- Conduct periodic safety inspections on elevators to ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards, documenting findings, and recommending corrective actions as necessary.- Perform intricate repair tasks on elevator systems, including troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control systems issues with high technical precision and adherence to industry standards.- Interact with customers to diagnose issues and provide solutions, maintaining a professional demeanor and fostering a positive customer experience.- Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and engineers to share insights and coordinate efforts on more complex repair and service tasks, ensuring efficient resolution and continuous improvement.Qualifications Required:- Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronics) or ITIProfessional Experience:- 5 to 12 years in the Elevator or manufacturing industry in Service/ Maintenance DepartmentSkills / Competencies:- Technical Expertise in Maintenance and Repair- Customer Service Orientation- Planning- Safety OrientationAdditional Details:Schindler Elevator Corporation is a purpose-driven organization that values diversity and inclusion.
