As a Software Test Analyst Senior at FIS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our financial services and technology products. Your expertise in QA and software testing will be key in driving our automation testing efforts and continuous improvement initiatives.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Domain Knowledge:** You will leverage your understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies to contribute to the efficient delivery of projects.- **Collaboration & Mentorship:** Work closely with Delivery Managers, Project Managers, and stakeholders to meet timelines. Take the lead in mentoring junior team members and promoting knowledge sharing within the QA team.- **Automation Tools & Programming:** Utilize API testing tools like Bruno, RestAssured, and frameworks such as BDD/TDD. Experience with Cucumber and BDD frameworks for behavior-driven development and test automation.- **Test Planning & Design:** Create detailed test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures for functional, integration, and system testing. Effectively document and report software defects to development teams.- **Automation & Continuous Improvement:** Develop, maintain, and upgrade manual and automated test scripts for UI and API test cases. Drive automation testing improvements and implement best practices for efficiency.- **Defect Management & Quality Assurance:** Take charge of defect triage meetings to ensure timely resolution.- **Soft Skills:** Your strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities will be essential. Show your ability to work independently, exhibit ownership, and be accountable for the quality of deliverables.**Qualifications Required:**- **Must haves:** Minimum 8 years of related experience in QA/software testing with a minimum of 4 years in automated testing. Understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies.- **Education:** Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.- **Nice to have:** Knowledge of ISO20022, SWIFT MT/MS messaging, real-time schemes, bulk schemes.
