Job Description

Role Overview:As a Specialist in Data Analysis at our Company, you will be part of the Data Solutions team, playing a vital role in understanding, maintaining, and utilizing data assets/products optimally. You will be responsible for establishing enterprise data management principles, standards, and guidelines for the assigned functional area or data domain. Your role will involve serving as the point of contact for data quality, fitness, and implementation of data governance, as well as stewardship of transversal and therapeutic area-specific data domains.Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance, security, and quality of data assets and products, making sure they are fit for purpose- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) within specific data domain(s), collaborating with data engineers, product owners, and consumers- Drive data profiling, exploratory data analysis, and maintain key artifacts such as data dictionaries and lineage information- Establish and implement governance policies and procedures related to data intake, storage, processing, and transmission - Lead efforts to achieve data quality and governance objectives, conducting data investigations and driving issue resolutions- Provide operational oversight throughout the lifecycle of data products, monitoring usage and providing insights for decision-making- Maintain and update all data management and administration-related documents and processes- Partner with IT teams to implement practices and utilize governance tools effectively- Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality metrics and standardsQualifications Required:- B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field- 7 years of relevant experience in data analysis, data management, consulting, or related industry- Basic knowledge of data assets/products development and use within business processes and data science/analytics- Proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools, particularly SQL- Analytical and data-focused thinking with exceptional attention to detail- Ability to drive decisions within functional areas and influence across business areas- Experience with Agile ways of working and scrum methodologies would be beneficialAdditional Details:Our Companys Human Health Division prioritizes a patient first, profits later ideology, consisting of professionals passionate about bringing medicines to customers worldwide.
