You will be working on a state-of-the-art data engineering and analytics platform at Tesla, focused on business and operation intelligence. Your role involves giving meaning to the enormous amount of data available and ensuring it is easily accessible for users to make data-driven decisions. The platform aims to answer various questions and enable users to understand different scenarios. As a BI developer, you will onboard analytics use cases, provide analytics consultancy, and collaborate with critical business operations.**Key Responsibilities:**- Analyze enterprise business data to generate impactful insights for process improvements.- Assist in migrating Tableau/PowerBI dashboards to the internal platform based on business use cases.- Develop high visibility dashboards for visualizing metrics across various business verticals.- Write SQL/Python scripts for data aggregation and processing from multiple sources.- Create ETL jobs to calculate key performance indicators.- Enhance accuracy and performance of analytics AI agents.- Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance the platform.**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors/masters degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering) or equivalent experience.- Minimum 4 years of experience in data or business analytics or engineering.- Proficiency in SQL, with familiarity in multiple database systems (MySQL, Microsoft SQL server, Presto) and knowledge of Vertica.- Expertise in data visualization tools like Jupyter notebooks, Tableau, Power BI, or Superset.- Minimum 2 years of experience with Python for data analytics.- Knowledge of Javascript is a plus.- Experience with LLM and GenAI solutions is advantageous.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns across multiple datasets.Please note that the above description is based on the information provided and may not include any additional details about the company.
