As a Sr. Developer - C# .Net at Barclays, your role involves supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects with a focus on planning, budgeting, quality, and governance. You will lead the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence to enhance customer experiences.Key Responsibilities:- Agile development using C#/.NET 4.5, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular 2, ASP.NET WebAPI, SQL, Multithreading, and HTML5/CSS3- Producing SOLID code with excellent unit test coverage and hands-on design patterns- Experience with any messaging system like MQ, Kafka- Selecting and applying appropriate design patterns and frameworks based on business benefit and maintainability- Building relationships with Front Office, Middle Office teams, and other technology teams- Delivering solutions in a DevOps environment with a focus on automation of testing and deployment using tools like TeamCity, SpecFlow, and Selenium- Experience in building Single-Page Applications, ideally with Angular 2- Server-side development with C# .Net covering REST Services (ASP.NET WebAPI), asynchronous code, Entity Framework, and SQL Server- Writing unit tests and testable code- Hands-on experience with tools like npm, grunt, gulp, karma, jspm- Designing performant production systemsQualifications Required:- Experience in Credit Risk business knowledge- Proven experience in developing with AWS native solutionsIn this role based in Pune, you will design, develop, and enhance software using various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities.Additional Details:You may be evaluated based on key critical skills such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job-specific technical skills.As an Assistant Vice President, you are expected to consult on complex issues, identify ways to mitigate risks, take ownership for managing risk, collaborate with other areas, engage in complex data analysis, communicate complex information, and influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes.All colleagues are expected to demonstrate the Barclays Values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship, as well as the Barclays Mindset of Empower, Challenge, and Drive.
