Job Description

    As a Supplier Quality Engineer at Stanley Black & Decker, your role will involve conducting various quality audits and inspections to ensure the products meet the required standards. You will collaborate with suppliers to address quality complaints, develop improvement plans, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct Quality Audit (SQA) to suppliers based on Stanley Black & Decker audit process- Trace improvement plan (CAP) and maintain the audit information into dedicated audit database- Conduct Pre-Shipment Inspection (EOLA) and issue official inspection reports- Request, review, and follow up on Corrective Action Plans (CAP) from suppliers- Perform In-Process Audit (CAPA) on items manufactured by the supplier- Implement corrective actions to address any quality issues- Co-work with suppliers on developing quality improvement projects- Lead LEAN manufacturing initiatives on the supplier side- Facilitate communication between Stanley Black & Decker and suppliers- Provide and explain engineering requirements to suppliers- Collaborate with purchasing and project engineers to ensure quality standards are met- Co-work with Test Lab to verify product complianceQualifications Required:- University/college degree in Plastic/Mechanical/Electronic Engineering- 3 years of experience in quality control and new product development- Familiarity with international certifications such as ISO9000, QS9000, TS16949, SA8000- Audit skills to conduct various audits to the supplier side- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)- Fluent in English- Strong problem-solving skills (PDCA, 5W, 8D, Lean 6 Sigma, SPC)- Project management skills- Ability to use SAP and Minitab is a plusBy joining Stanley Black & Decker, you will be part of an innovative, tech-driven, and collaborative team environment with the opportunity to work on iconic brands and impact millions of customers globally.
