Supply Chain Supervisor

Job Description

As a Supervisor in the Supply Chain department at TE Connectivity Ltd., your role is crucial in ensuring product availability to meet customer demand efficiently and effectively. Your primary objective will be to ensure timely delivery of products to the appropriate location in the required quantity, thereby contributing to the overall success of the business.**Key Responsibilities:**- Manage orders and shortages to meet or exceed desired service levels and inventory targets- Focus on part availability, on-time delivery, quality, and cost reduction- Drive supply chain and logistics excellence while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements- Provide innovative planning and logistics solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction- Support procurement exercises by providing operational market intelligence and benchmarking- Utilize technological tools and internal data to generate reports for process efficiencies and areas needing improvement- Work on the automation of processes through relevant software- Handle Inter-Company procurement and allocations from vendors worldwide- Schedule and release orders to affiliates globally as per domestic requirements- Confirm orders and ensure timely handover of shipments to forwarders- Oversee the execution of shipments via various modes like Sea, Air Freight, and Couriers from different origins in coordination with freight forwarders**Technical Skills Required:**- Proficiency in SAP (mandatory)- Advanced Excel skills- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or any other Reporting tool**Qualifications:**- MBA or equivalent degree holder from any stream- Graduate degree holder from any stream, preferably Engineering- Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in creating advanced models using Microsoft Excel and other relevant software- Good knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems- Excellent communication and partnership skills with Cross-Functional Teams**Critical Experience:**- 3 to 7 years of experience in multinational companies in Supply Chain functions- Experience in driving Cost Reduction and Data Analytics strategies and their implementation- Exposure to SAP and Data Analytical tools is highly desirableIn addition to your technical skills and qualifications, the ideal candidate for this role will exhibit a motivational and cultural fit by possessing:- An innovative problem-solving approach- Passion for technology- Results-driven mindset- Clear and concise communication skillsThis is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a global technology and manufacturing leader, where your contributions to the supply chain function will play a significant role in shaping a safer, sustainable, and connected future.
