As a Software Engineer in Test at UBS, you will be responsible for delivering QA activities across the Markets Regulation portfolio of projects. Heres a summary of what your role entails:- Able to look beyond the status quo and identify areas of constant change/improvement- Able to analyze applications thoroughly and demonstrate strong QA skills to drive quality software delivery- Possess a strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and attention to details- Strong analytical and logical reasoning capabilityYour Key Responsibilities will include:- Working within the IB Core Services team, responsible for delivering trade reporting and order recordkeeping capabilities for the IB- Being a functional domain expert for the application under test within the scrum and collaborating with extended teams across Hybrid Pod(s)- Having test automation experience using various tools like Selenium, REST Assured, etc.- Working experience with CUCUMBER, TestNG automation framework- Full understanding of SDLC, QA, and Defect Lifecycle- Experience with Test data identification & creation working experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Quality Centre)- Strong in Java programming- Experience in building/Maintaining automation frameworks using Java- Supporting achieving CI/CD goals where automation can be integrated with build pipeline(s)- Working experience with SQL experience with UNIX- Experience with performance testing using jmeter, Performance Center will be preferred- Experience in Banking & Financial Markets QA- Experience with Hadoop/Big data will be a plus- Hands-on experience with Python scripting will be a plus- Engaging proactively with QA Manager regarding project statuses, resourcing, risksQualifications Required:- 9 to 14 years of experience in testing complex systems and business flows- Test automation experience using various tools like Selenium, REST Assured, etc.- Full understanding of SDLC, QA, and Defect Lifecycle- Experience with Test data identification & creation working experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Quality Centre)- Strong in Java programming- Experience in building/Maintaining automation frameworks using Java- Supports achieving CI/CD goals where automation can be integrated with build pipeline(s)- Working experience with SQL experience with UNIX- Experience with performance testing using jmeter, Performance Center will be preferred- Experience in Banking & Financial Markets QA- Experience with Hadoop/Big data will be a plus- Hands-on experience with Python scripting will be a plusAbout UBS:UBS is the worlds largest and only truly global wealth manager, operating through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank.
