Job Description

As part of the growing actuarial function at Allianz Services India, you will be required to work closely with actuarial teams of other operating entities of Allianz. You will be involved with both projected based activities like model development/model testing, pricing and also BAU pricing activities for P&C insurance products.What you do

  • Analyzing, optimizing and creating financial models that form the basis of insurance products
  • Providing thorough analyses of complex data
  • Technical price calculation for various lines of business using methods such as frequency-severity, GLMs etc.
  • Implement, maintain and enhance pricing tools on the Radar platform, contribute to the design of Radar software enhancements
  • Work together with pricing and underwriting teams to understand and ensure accurate delivery of their requirements
  • Ensure the quality of pricing tool updates including peer reviewing and comprehensive testing
  • Collaborate effectively with IT on the integration of the pricing tools within IT landscape
  • Provide support on the various modeling initiatives and ensure proper documentation is in place
  • Contribute to the process improvement initiatives
What you bring
  • Masters degree in Actuarial Science/Statistics/Mathematics/B.Tech with good academic background
  • Student member of a recognized Actuarial Institute such as IFoA, IAI, SOA etc. and have cleared at least 5 actuarial exams
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in P&C insurance domain, experience of successfully working in close partnership with Pricing, Underwriting, and IT teams
  • Delivery of Radar solutions for multiple insurance products/lines
  • Proficient in Radar Base, knowledge in Radars reporting functionality preferred and experience in deploying Radar models to a Radar Live environment constitutes an advantage
  • Partnering mentality with the ability to build strong working relationships with peers, management, and the business areas
  • Strong programming skills: Excel, VBA, SAS, Python
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to interact with customers from different geographical areas
  • Good with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint
  • Possesses basic knowledge of SQL and can work with databases
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to details
  • Ability to work within a team
