Job Description

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Big Data developers and architects to deliver high-quality projects for clients
  • Manage project scope, timeline, budget, and resources
  • Act as a technical advisor to clients, providing guidance on the latest Big Data technologies and best practices
  • Collaborate with other technical leads, business analysts, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery
Skills & Experience:
  • Strong understanding of Big Data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and NoSQL databases
  • Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying large-scale Big Data solutions
  • Knowledge of cloud-based Big Data platforms, such as AWS and Azure
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience in Agile software development methodologies
Day-to-Day Activities:
  • Lead the design and development of Big Data solutions for clients
  • Manage the delivery of projects, including resource allocation and task assignments
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide technical guidance and recommendations
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to improve their technical skills and grow their careers
  • Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders
Qualification:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Certified Big Data Professional (CBD) or similar certification is a plus
Soft Skills:
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive and solution-oriented attitude
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build relationships with clients.
