  • Design, develop, evaluate, standardize, and continuously improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and systems to meet increasing customer and internal demand, with key emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Ensure that the manufacturing process and controls are capable of consistently producing products that meet and/or exceed customer expectations.
  • Lead and/or participate in problem-solving activities utilizing defined analytical methods.
  • Document processes and systems for ease of use on the shop floor and to ensure standardization of work practices.
  • Work closely with operations to ensure effective implementation of changes across all shifts.
  • Work closely with quality on customer quality issues to enable problem resolution and prompt customer response.
  • Review production program equipment, hardware, and tooling; makes recommendations for repairs or replacement.
  • Oversee the development of new processes, methods, and production controls.
  • Maintain knowledge of new and developing manufacturing technology, equipment, and applications.
