As an EventWatch Analyst you will notify our clients of potential scenarios or events that could affect their global supply chain networks. This is a fast-paced environment and involves conducting thorough research, acquiring a profound comprehension of the subject matter, and effectively communicating information through proficient writing skills.What You Will Do

• Understanding potential disruptions and their impact on the supply chain.
• Web Research, news analysis, writing & editing content and summarizing web articles.
• Proofreading, copy-editing, and reporting global news.
• Content writing, monitoring & updating site content regularly.
• Writing news descriptions and headlines, editing newsletters and bulletins.
• Adhere to Resilinc standards and policies for monitoring and notifying supply chain disruptions.
• Utilize the feed dashboard to analyse global news and identify potential supply chain disruptions.
• Conduct thorough research to validate and understand supply chain relevance in identified events, using credible sources.
• Prepare concise bulletins using defined templates and promptly create notifications for our customers.
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of information before publishing the write-up.
• Independently manage workload prioritization in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlines.
• Foster teamwork with global team members through clear communication and active participation in meetings.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work weekends and off-hours as per business requirements.

What You Will Bring

• Minimum 2 years work experience, preferably in a backend customer operations role in a tech/SaaS company.
• Background in news writing, content development, mass communication, journalism, alert monitoring or similar a plus.
• One or more of the following: supply chain knowledge, content creation expertise and/or experience or foundational understanding of GenAI and Prompt Engineering.
• Engineering or similar education or background a plus.
• You are curious and enjoy researching to understand; experience doing research for school or work projects or similar experience a plus.
• Professional level or higher English verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in reading and comprehension in English.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning and acquiring new skills.
• Strong analytical ability, creative thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Capability to apply a consultative approach to issue resolution.
• Proficiency in using the MS Office Suite.
• Proactive and self-motivated.

Shift Timings and Rostering

• Monthly roster to be followed includes working on weekends and public holidays.
• 9 hours shift including a 1-hour break (15mins 30mins 15mins) spread through the shift.
• We work in a 24/7 environment and shifts are subject to change based on business needs. In the event of any shift changes, a one-week notice will be provided.

Onboarding Journey

• Upon successful hiring, you will undergo a 3-week product and process training program to fully equip yourself with required skills for monitoring, researching, and reporting news bulletins.
• Successful training completion demands clearing mandatory post-training assessments at the end of the 3-week training period.
• After clearing the assessment, you will be assigned only researching and monitoring responsibilities for a maximum of 3 weeks.
• After satisfactory exposure to monitoring events, you will be assigned the role of a Reporting analyst and your performance during the Monitoring and Reporting phase will determine the end of your probationary period.
