This team is innovative, passionate, and driven by our mission to help make an impact.We are looking for a Sr Manager of Engineering to join our Specialties Experience products engineering team. As a Sr Manager, you will partner with Product to drive the success and evolution of key areas of our entire product line. You are committed to developing your engineers and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, results, and high-performing teams.The Team:Our athenaClinicals team builds code that matters, working on the doctors workflows that is used by more than 100,000 healthcare providers daily. We develop workflows that prioritize the doctor & patient interactions and give doctors more time doing what attracted many to medicine in the first place: providing patient care. This team is innovative, passionate, and driven by our mission to help make an impact.Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive planning and execution for scrum team, to deliver releases in alignment with organizational and product objectives
  • Maintain knowledge of product architecture, connective dependencies, technical concerns such as rollout strategies, performance and scalability to ensure the right decisions are made
  • Develop your team; provide regular feedback to help them learn and grow
  • Foster a culture of engineering best practices, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Share the team vision and strategy to foster an understanding of the overall direction and the why behind decisions
  • Assist Product Owners and TPMs to drive cross functional initiatives to successful completion
Typical Qualifications:
  • Over 12 years of professional experience, including more than 3 years in leadership roles within a technical environment.
  • Experience in distributed systems, cloud-based architecture and highly-available systems
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as: C#, C , Perl, Java, Python, React, and JavaScript/jQuery
  • Experience leading teams in an agile environment.
  • Track record of growing your engineers and teams
  • Collaborative approach to driving best possible results and outcome for the customer
