Job Description

The Software Support Engineer is a hands-on role and is responsible to continuously communicate troubleshooting and resolution finding efforts to customers.Mode: Work from OfficeLocation: Baner, PuneExperience: 1-3 yearsShift: Night ShiftResponsibilities

  • This position reports to the Associate VP of Application Development and is based in Pune, India.
  • Excellent Communication required.
  • Good knowledge in technology like SQL, .NET, C#.
  • Candidate should be willing to self-learn using online tools and resources as required. Should be a go-getter and of positive attitude.
  • Should have completed or worked on at least one project as a part of curricular activity on a technical stack like .NET, SQL.
  • Able to monitor performance and troubleshoot business-level problems and provide guidance and advice on issues.
  • This person is responsible for continuously communicating troubleshooting and resolution finding efforts to customers.
  • Participate in discussions to understand clients needs, requirements, and manage support work requests to result in the delivery of fixes or enhancements on time and with high quality.
  • Provides operational support for many complex applications, database servers, and databases.
  • Also, design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot software applications.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaborate in a team setting.
  • Write code that meets standards and delivers the desired functionality using the technology selected for the project and ensure the highest quality code.
  • Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing, code quality automation, and support the continuous-integration process.
  • Understand performance parameters and assess application performance.
  • Work on core database structures and designs.
Qualifications
  • This job requires attention to detail and the ability to multitask, excellent troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
  • A bachelors degree in computer science or another relevant technical field is required.
  • Good knowledge of .NET 3.5 or above with C# is a MUST.
  • Good knowledge of ASP.NET MVC is a MUST.
  • Good knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, procedures in SQL Server 2008 (or later) is a MUST.
  • Knowledge on Telerik MVC or Kendo UI would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge with ASP.NET Web Forms, TFS, Entity Framework, SSRS, SAP Crystal reports, jQuery, AngularJS, SOAP, and REST API would be an added advantage.
