Job Description

    As a Senior IC, your role will involve a variety of responsibilities and activities. You will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements, client financial and management accounting, and overseeing regulatory and compliance issues. Additionally, you will prepare Board Packs, conduct client bench-marking analysis, and review new clients business operations to implement solutions effectively. Responding to queries from captive account-holders and maintaining various management information reports will also be part of your duties.Key responsibilities in this role include:- Preparation of Trial Balance, Income statement, and Balance Sheet for Captive Insurance clients- Planning and executing accounting and financial activities such as budgeting, forecasting, investment reconciliations, cash flow statements, and bank account reconciliations- Updating notes to accounts as necessary- Calculating unearned/un-expensed reinsurance reserves and Allocated Investment Income- Posting journals, preparing reconciliations, and reviewing balances- Preparing management, statutory, and regulatory reports- Monitoring shareholder/Inter-company loans in compliance with state laws- Reporting on activities and providing relevant management information- Proficiency in MS Office applications- Attending meetings and other company functions as required for organizational developmentIn terms of qualifications, you should possess the following skills and competencies:Top 5 Competencies:- Managing Stakeholders (Good to have)- Adjusting to change (Must have)- Structuring Task (Good to have)- Presentation skills (Good to have)- Investigating Issues & Evaluating Problems (Good to have)Required Skills and Qualifications:- CA Qualified (Must have)- Strong communication skills (Must have)- Self-driven, results-oriented, with a focus on high quality (Good to have)- Advanced spreadsheet skills (MS Excel) (Good to have)- Ability to critically assess performance (Good to have)- Comfortable in dealing with senior company executives (Good to have)- Emphatic communicator with a perspective-taking ability (Must have)- Presentable and businesslike (Good to have)- Willingness to travel to various domicile locations (Must have)- Eagerness for new experiences, responsibility, and professional development (Good to have)- Team-player mindset (Good to have)The company is committed to equal employment opportunity and provides necessary adjustments and accommodations to all applicants.
