Role Overview:You will be responsible for designing and building a test framework to validate the end-to-end solution of the product. Your role will involve implementing best practices in design, development, and testing, as well as collaborating with different test groups for testing improvements. Additionally, you will be required to write and execute automated tests under the guidance of the Software Engineering Manager or Lead SDET, ensuring adherence to coding practices and team-identified methods.Key Responsibilities:- Translate requirements into functional and technical test cases, developing integration test plans, and implementing test scripts for quality and performance assessment.- Create and maintain negative test cases and scripts to ensure database integrity and application functionality.- Conduct statistical tests on large datasets to evaluate data quality, integrity, and performance.- Collaborate with database developers to enhance data collection and storage processes.- Run data queries to identify coding issues, data exceptions, and clean data.- Gather and interpret data trends from primary or secondary data sources.- Maintain multiple QA environments for various applications, following coding and testing standards.- Perform code reviews, recommend improvements, and contribute to coding standards.- Undertake other assigned duties and projects.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent, with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant technology job experience.- Understanding of financial terms and concepts is preferred, along with knowledge of mortgage-specific terminology and systems.- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, experience with Azure and Snowflake is beneficial.- Familiarity with TFS, JIRA, and Confluence is preferred.- Minimum three (3) years of experience working collaboratively in a team environment.- Proficiency in analyzing data, log files, and system performance.- Adherence to Information Security Management policies and procedures.(Note: The additional details of the company were not included in the provided job description.)
