Job Description

    Role Overview:As a Vulnerability Management Offshore Lead Resource, you will be responsible for leading a small team of VM analysts under the Managers supervision. Your main role will involve detecting, evaluating, communicating, and tracking security vulnerabilities using various security scanning and assessment tools. You will also be required to prevent emerging threats and ensure the security of the companys assets.Key Responsibilities:- Lead a small team to perform vulnerability assessment scans using tools like Qualys- Configure scheduled scans and interpret assessment results for asset configuration management- Utilize security scanning tools to detect, evaluate, and prioritize critical security flaws- Mentor junior team members in day-to-day operations- Communicate and escalate identified vulnerabilities as per defined processes- Adhere to defined processes and Information Security policies set by the company and customersQualifications Required:- 3 to 5 years of experience as a VM Analyst in a global organization- University degree in Cyber Security or related field with demonstrable knowledge in basics of Cyber Security- Proficiency in using VM tools like Qualys, Nessus, etc. and their administration- Excellent logical problem-solving and analytical skills- Ability to adapt to new technologies and tools in the Vulnerability Management and Assessment space- Good written and verbal communication skills- Knowledge of vulnerability scanning process, Security Vulnerabilities, Vulnerability Management, and AssessmentAdditional Details of the Company:The company is looking for a candidate with minimum 6 years of experience in infrastructure or application support, with at least 2 years in vulnerability or sustainment management roles. They should have proven leadership skills in coordinating cross-functional teams and driving offshore execution strategy in Agile environments. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of vulnerability lifecycle management, including data review, prioritization, owner assignment, and deployment coordination. Skills in handling escalations, resolving blockers, and aligning work with compliance and sustainment goals are essential. Experience with Linux environments and compiled applications is a must, along with familiarity with CVSS scoring, vendor advisories, and risk prioritization. The candidate should have experience in guiding dashboard/reporting specialists, coordinating with SDLs, QA, and patching teams, and possess strong Linux proficiency and understanding of vulnerability management principles and methodologies. Familiarity with vulnerability management tools and tracking tools is required, as well as experience with monitoring tools and basic DevOps tools and practices.
