Role Overview:As a Senior Software Engineer within our enterprise product domain, you will work closely with your cross functional team to design and implement new features and products, whilst bringing ideas, energy, and leadership to the table. Your key accountabilities and responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software that will delight customers, working with users and stakeholders to understand and deliver value through your product, participating and leading design, code, and test reviews, practicing DevOps, testing and releasing software continuously, integrating software with monitoring, observability, and support tools, leading, coaching, and mentoring other engineers, participating in team processes, using Agile methodologies to adapt and continuously improve, sharing feedback, seeking opportunities to improve software quality, exercising strong technical aptitude to influence positive change and innovation, helping troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the product life cycle, and researching new technologies that can be of use.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software- Work with users and stakeholders to understand and deliver value- Participate and lead upon design, code, and test reviews- Practice DevOps, testing and releasing software continuously- Integrate software with monitoring, observability, and support tools- Lead, coach, and mentor other engineers- Participate in team processes, using Agile methodologies to adapt and continuously improve- Share feedback, seek opportunities to improve software quality- Exercise strong technical aptitude to influence positive change and innovation- Help troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the product life cycle- Research new technologies that can be of useQualification Required:- A minimum of 5 years professional experience in senior software development roles, with proven involvement across the full software development lifecycle, including production support- Extensive exposure to Agile delivery methodologies, with a strong understanding of iterative and incremental development- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders- In-depth knowledge of HTML and CSS, including cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization- Strong proficiency in React.js, including component-based architecture and hooks- Advanced understanding of Redux and Redux-Saga for managing application state and asynchronous workflows- Proficient in Node.js for building scalable server-side applications and RESTful APIs- Comprehensive knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript, applied in both client-side and server-side development- Familiarity with Redis for caching and session management- Working knowledge of DocumentDB or similar NoSQL document-based databases- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, particularly EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and virtual machine-based environments- Competence in test automation using tools such as Jest, Mocha, and Chai- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices, with hands-on experience building and enhancing deployment pipelines- Experience designing pipelines and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools, preferably Terraform- Proficiency in using GitLab for source control and automation of deployment workflows- Proven ability to mentor and support engineering colleagues within a co-located or distributed team environment- Comfortable operating with autonomy and accountability in fast-paced, dynamic environments- Excellent command of English (written and spoken),
