Job Description

Role Overview:As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer with 5 to 9 years of experience in Information Security and 2 years in Azure Cloud Security, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of systems and applications. Your responsibilities will include conducting security assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to identify weaknesses and recommend remediation actions. Additionally, you will monitor security alerts, events, and incidents, manage security tools and technologies, and provide security guidance for physical, virtual, and code infrastructure. You will also participate in incident response activities, stay updated on cybersecurity threats, and drive changes to improve the overall security posture.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests- Monitor and analyze security alerts, events, and incidents- Manage and maintain security tools and technologies- Proactively monitor Key Risk Indicators and assist in remediation- Provide security guidance for infrastructure and applications- Participate in incident response activities- Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and best practices- Provide vendor due diligence reviews and drive change for improved security posture- Ensure the protection of organizational information assets and manage technology risks- Serve as a subject matter expert for IT Risk and Cyber domains- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders on audits and reviews- Review IAM control standards and perform access reviews- Design and maintain automated workflows for security operations- Establish relationships with other teams and provide advisement as needed- Build a security-focused culture through partnership and collaboration- Configure, deploy, and manage enterprise security tools- Research and formulate recommendations for technologies and solutions- Provide security recommendations and oversight throughout the SDLC- Hands-on experience securing public cloud workloads in a hybrid environment- Knowledge of security controls and vulnerability management in public cloud- Understanding of firewalls, WAFs, Web Gateways, and IPS- Problem-solving and analytical skills with Agile, ITIL, monitoring, and metricsQualifications Required:- 5 to 9 years of experience in Information Security- 2 years of experience in Azure Cloud Security- Experience in Security and regulatory compliance standards and frameworks- Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in cloud security- Experience with Cloud Platforms and security, risk, and compliance- Practical understanding with Agile, ITIL, monitoring, and metrics- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills(Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.),
