Job Description

As a Technical Architect with EYs Cyber Security team, your role will involve leading the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of multiple SIEM/EDR/NSM solutions for clients. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the security and integrity of client systems through your expertise in SOC Operations with a strong focus on SIEM, EDR, NSM, and Threat Intelligence solutions.**Key Responsibilities:**- Expertise in SIEM architecture, deployment, and administration, including a solid understanding of data analytics and security operations.- Design and architect scalable SIEM solutions tailored to meet clients specific business requirements.- Develop solutions for complex client needs in RFPs and proposals.- Collaborate with cross-functional client teams to gather requirements and create use cases for SIEM implementations.- Implement security best practices and compliance standards within SIEM/EDR/NSM environments.- Manage and maintain security tools and technologies used by the SOC team for effective monitoring and threat detection.- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members in SOC activities.- Identify opportunities for enhancing security monitoring and operational tasks.- Communicate complex technical security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.- Build and maintain productive relationships with client personnel.- Contribute innovative insights and adapt practices to meet operational team needs.- Demonstrate industry expertise and stay updated on emerging trends, challenges, and leading practices.**Skills and Attributes:**- Hands-on expertise in SIEM technologies like Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk from a security analysts perspective.- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation and customization.- Expert knowledge and experience in Security Monitoring and Cyber Incident Response.- Familiarity with cloud security, IOT/OT, network monitoring platforms, and endpoint protection tools.- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a strong customer service orientation.**Qualifications Required:**- B. Tech./ B.E. with sound technical skills.- Ability to work in client time zones.- Strong command of verbal and written English.- Technical acumen, critical thinking abilities, and strong interpersonal skills.- Minimum 9 years of hands-on experience in designing/implementing SIEM/EDR/NSM solutions, along with Project Management experience.- Certification in any SIEM platform and additional certifications like CISM, CEH, CISSP, GCIH, GIAC, SABSA, TOGAF will be beneficial.- Knowledge of RegEx, Perl scripting, and SQL query language is an added advantage.**About EY:**EY is dedicated to helping clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, offering a diverse range of projects.
