Job Description

    Role Overview:As a Lead Backend Test Automation Engineer specializing in Order Management Systems (OMS) and Kafka, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of backend systems for enterprise applications. With over 8 years of experience as a Senior Tester or Lead QE, you will leverage your expertise in Java, OMS, Kafka, and event-driven architectures to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks. Your responsibilities will include testing microservices APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous releases. Your ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outcomes in challenging scenarios will be key to your success in this role.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain backend automation frameworks using Java and Spring.- Test microservices APIs (REST & GraphQL) with a focus on scalability and performance.- Collaborate with product, development, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end quality.- Validate and test Order Management System (OMS) workflows and integrations.- Perform validation and troubleshooting for Kafka-based event-driven architectures.- Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines to enable faster, continuous releases.- Contribute to test planning, defect management, and reporting.- Work independently in scenarios with limited documentation, ensuring high-quality outcomes.Qualifications Required:- 8 years of experience in automation testing with a focus on backend systems.- Strong hands-on knowledge of Java automation testing and Spring framework.- Expertise in Order Management Systems (OMS) testing.- Proficiency in testing Kafka and event-driven architectures.- Strong experience in API testing (REST & GraphQL).Additional Details:The company is seeking a Lead Backend Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in backend automation testing for enterprise applications.
