Job Description

    As a Salesforce Developer / Senior Developer at UST in Trivandrum, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and customizing Salesforce applications. With an experience range of 7 to 9 years in total IT experience, including significant years in Salesforce development, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and collaborate with onsite teams in locations like Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Noida, Kochi, and Trivandrum.Your primary responsibilities will include hands-on experience in Salesforce Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and LWC (Aura/LWC components), as well as strong proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration. You should have a minimum of 4 Salesforce Lightning projects under your belt, including LWC and Aura components, and be proficient in SOQL, Apex Triggers, JavaScript, and the use of Visual Studio Code / SFDX. Experience in Sales, Service, and Community Cloud is essential, along with a strong understanding of Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, and Approval Processes.Additionally, you will be expected to have integration experience using SOAP/REST APIs, Platform Events, and Bulk/Metadata API. Familiarity with unit testing best practices, CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bamboo, Copado), and deployment tools (ANT, Change Sets, etc.) is crucial for this role. Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are highly desirable.While not mandatory, prior development experience in Java / .NET, knowledge of HTML5, CSS, AJAX, JQuery, or other JavaScript frameworks, and experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Boomi, Cast Iron, or Mulesoft are considered good to have skills. Exposure to Marketing Cloud / Pardot, Einstein Analytics, Field Service Lightning (FSL), Heroku, Radian6, Salesforce1 / vfmobile for mobile development, and database development knowledge in SQL or PL/SQL would be advantageous.Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I and AppBuilder are mandatory, with Platform Developer II (or DEV 501 completed all 3 parts) being desirable. Advanced Admin (ADM301) and/or Consultant Certifications (Sales/Service Cloud) are nice to have.In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with onsite teams to gather knowledge and requirements, customize and configure SFDC objects, work on complex integrations between Salesforce and external systems, and participate in the full development life cycle.
