Job Description

    As a SOC Analyst Level 1 at UST, you will be responsible for supporting 24x7 security monitoring and incident triage activities within the Security Operations Center. Your role will involve executing playbook-driven investigations, managing incident workflows, and collaborating with platform teams to ensure timely and accurate threat response.Key Responsibilities:- Perform continuous security threat monitoring through Sentinel Platform (Mandatory) and potentially Nozomi Networks for OT platforms (Good to have).- Execute playbook-driven triage and investigation of security incidents, including evidence gathering and documentation.- Manage incident workflows, escalate to L2/L3 teams, and track resolution progress.- Collaborate with the clients third-party Nozomi platform team for platform-specific expertise.- Support incident handling, initial containment, escalation, and provide basic remediation recommendations.- Participate in incident response, threat containment efforts, and contribute to enhancing threat detection logic and false positive tuning.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat types, and incident response workflows.- Familiarity with SIEM platforms and OT security tools such as Nozomi Networks (preferred).- Ability to follow structured investigation playbooks and document findings accurately.- Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a shift-based, high-pressure environment.- Good communication skills, collaboration with internal and external teams, and willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic SOC environment.Location: Trivandrum As a SOC Analyst Level 1 at UST, you will be responsible for supporting 24x7 security monitoring and incident triage activities within the Security Operations Center.
