Job Description

    Role Overview:As an Automation QA Engineer, your main responsibility will be to develop a firm understanding of system requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to define test automation approaches. You will be involved in preparing and executing tests, including automated tests, and reporting progress effectively.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with Development, Business Analysis, and Product Owners to comprehend testing objectives- Plan test processes, design and document test strategies, test cases, test scripts, and test reports- Develop and execute software test plans, maintaining documentation of test results and analyzing them for corrective actions- Review test plans, test cases, test data, and test metrics- Work with team members to enhance testing practices and implement new software technologies and processes that align with the organization- Design, build, test, and deploy efficient test automation solutionsQualification Required:- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in multiple software engineering and test methodologies- Expertise in identifying test scenarios and developing test cases- Experience in test process definition and implementation- Proficient in Scope Definition, Control, Estimation, Scheduling, and Task allocation- Domain knowledge in Investment Banking/Wealth Management is considered an added advantageAdditional Details:Candidates for this role must possess a solid understanding of web technologies, particularly Java, and browser debugging tools. Proficiency in web automation testing tools like Selenium is essential. A focus on Quality, including Black-box, White-box, Code Coverage, Performance, and Automation, is required. Experience with API testing, preferably using REST web services, is preferred.,
