SENIOR BUSINESS SYSTEM ANALYST

Job Description

As a Business Analyst with a focus on the mortgage or financial services domain, your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), and Use Cases. Additionally, you will act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure effective communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements.- Analyze mortgage processes to identify gaps and propose solutions.- Create BRDs, FSDs, and Use Cases.- Maintain detailed records of process flows, system interactions, and data mapping.- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors.- Analyze mortgage-related data to support decision-making.- Define data models and reporting requirements in collaboration with data teams.- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining test scenarios and reviewing test plans.- Validate data integrity and compliance within mortgage systems.- Stay updated on industry trends and compliance requirements in the mortgage domain.- Evaluate existing mortgage workflows and recommend enhancements for efficiency and customer experience.- Ensure solutions adhere to regulatory and legal standards.Qualifications Required:- 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst with at least 4 years in the mortgage or financial services domain.- Strong understanding of the mortgage lifecycle and various mortgage software systems.- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and integrations with third-party systems.- Experience with Agile methodologies and proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Visio, and JIRA.- Basic knowledge of SQL for data analysis is a plus.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.The company expects you to work at least 4 hours overlap with US Pacific business hours. Your attention to detail and focus on delivering high-quality outputs will be crucial in this role.
