As a Senior Azure Databricks professional at EY, you will play a crucial role in developing and deploying Azure Databricks in a cloud environment using Azure Cloud services. Your responsibilities will include ETL design, development, and deployment to Cloud Service, interacting with Onshore teams to understand their business goals, and contributing to the delivery of workstreams. Additionally, you will design and optimize model codes for faster execution.Key Responsibilities:- Develop & deploy Azure Databricks in a cloud environment using Azure Cloud services- ETL design, development, and deployment to Cloud Service- Interact with Onshore, understand their business goals, contribute to the delivery of the workstreams- Design and optimize model codes for faster executionTo excel in this role, you should have:- 3 to 7 years of experience in developing data ingestion, data processing, and analytical pipelines for big data- Extensive hands-on experience implementing data migration and data processing using Azure services- Hands-on experience in Azure Databricks & Pyspark to develop ETL pipelines- Proficiency in Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Python & SQL is essential- Familiarity with ETL principles, data warehousing, and big data technologies- Strong problem-solving skills and communication abilitiesQualifications Required:- Be a computer science graduate or equivalent with 3 to 7 years of industry experience- Have working experience in an Agile based delivery methodology- Strong analytical skills and enjoys solving complex technical problems- Excellent debugging and optimization skills- Experience in Enterprise-grade solution implementations- Excellent communicator (written and verbal formal and informal)Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience in Banking and Capital Markets domains.
