Job Description

    As an FPGA Design Engineer, you will be responsible for crafting architecture to meet the FPGA requirements, creating and reviewing FPGA architecture documents, detailed design documents, timing diagrams, state machine diagrams, and selecting third-party or vendor IP cores based on FPGA requirements. You will have a good understanding of FPGA internals such as internal memory, IO blocks, and high-speed transceivers. Additionally, you will be proficient in RTL design using VHDL or Verilog and experienced in writing performance-critical RTL logic.Key Responsibilities:- Understand customer requirements and develop FPGA architecture design- Identify independent modules and guide engineers to implement the FPGA design- Take ownership of all FPGA development activities in the project- Build a good rapport with the customer- Mentor junior design engineers in the team- Provide guidance for timing closure- Support the team in identifying root causes and fixing issues reported during hardware validationQualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Engineering - Electronics Engineering- 9-12 years of experience in FPGA design- Experience working with Xilinx and Altera devices- Proficiency in RTL synthesis, implementation, and static timing analysis- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement- Ability to conduct fruitful discussions with hardware, firmware, and verification teams on high levels, architecture, and technical issuesWould be a plus:- Exposure to hardware and firmware- Experience developing FPGA designs for the medical domain- Exposure to FPGA SoC- Experience leading an FPGA development team of at least 10 membersJob Location: Trivandrum(Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.)
