Job Description

As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at our company, you will be part of a scrum team and provide technical leadership in developing software automation frameworks using new technologies. Your responsibilities will include:- Defining software automation strategies and best practices.- Maintaining a full software test automation suite and reusable software components.- Demonstrating solid computer science fundamentals such as design patterns and data structures.- Applying performance and security test techniques.- Supporting performance and security testing activities at the API/Interface level.- Implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) techniques.- Developing and managing dynamic software test data creation.- Troubleshooting environmental set-up issues related to software test automation.- Participating in all levels of testing and driving discussions for determining appropriate testing levels.- Providing technical support and mentoring to other team members.You will have a minimum qualification requirement of a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience, along with:- Minimum 5 years of experience in an SDET role.- Proficiency in object-oriented programming with .NET C#, C, Python, Typescript/Angular 8, and T-SQL.- Proficiency in testing at the API level using tools like RestAssured, Postman/Swagger, and at System testing using tools like Cucumber and Selenium or Protractor.- Demonstrated proactive problem-solving skills and ability to handle and manage crises effectively.
