Your role will involve working as a Mainframe Tester with expertise in JCL, DB2, and SQL, contributing to the development of transformative experiences and solutions.Key Responsibilities:- Understand and analyze business and system requirements to develop comprehensive test deliverables such as test strategies, plans, cases, scenarios, and data.- Independently manage test planning, estimation, execution, and defect tracking throughout project phases.- Participate in requirement review sessions to enhance requirement quality by providing actionable feedback.- Conduct regression testing, impact analysis, and ensure thorough test case coverage.- Adhere to Agile methodologies and testing best practices during project sprints.- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.- Take ownership of defects and drive them to resolution by collaborating with relevant teams.- Provide accurate test status reports to technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Support release and deployment testing activities as required.Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification is a plus.Additional Company Details:UST values humility, humanity, and integrity, fostering innovation, diversity, and inclusion in its culture.
