Job Description

    As a skilled and detail-oriented Storage Engineer with 5-7 years of experience, you will be responsible for managing and supporting enterprise storage infrastructures. Your expertise in Pure Storage, NetApp, Cisco MDS, Fibre Channel (FC), and NAS protocols like SMB and NFS will be crucial in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of storage environments across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.Your key responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and managing Fibre Channel (FC) and NAS (SMB/NFS) storage environments, performing provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise storage systems, and ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness using best practices.You will also be tasked with managing Pure Storage environments, including Active/Active clusters, implementing and supporting Active DR and asynchronous replication strategies, and configuring protection groups and managing snapshots for data protection. Additionally, conducting zoning operations, firmware upgrades, and hardware maintenance across Cisco MDS switches will be part of your role.In terms of NetApp storage support, you will administer NetApp ONTAP 9 and NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO), configure CIFS/SMB shares for secure and efficient file access, and monitor performance and manage capacity to meet organizational storage needs.To qualify for this role, you need to have at least 6 years of experience in enterprise storage engineering roles, strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Pure Storage, NetApp ONTAP 9 & CVO, Cisco MDS, Fibre Channel, SMB, and NFS protocols, as well as proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex storage issues.
