Job Description

    You will be responsible for defining and executing the automation strategy and planning in alignment with project stakeholders. It will be crucial to ensure that test automation is integrated effectively with project objectives to drive efficiency.Your role will involve developing scalable, reusable, and maintainable automated test scripts. You will execute these scripts, analyze the results, and troubleshoot any failures that occur. Continuous updating of scripts based on evolving requirements will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities.As part of the quality assurance process, you will need to implement automation best practices and industry standards. Performing defect analysis, supporting continuous improvement, conducting regular script reviews, and ensuring system adaptability checks will be essential tasks in ensuring high-quality automation.You will lead and mentor a team of automation testers while collaborating with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and business analysts. Sharing progress, addressing challenges, and providing solutions to stakeholders will be critical to the success of the team.Managing automation tools and frameworks will also fall under your purview. Staying updated with industry trends and innovations in test automation will be necessary to ensure the tools and technologies being used are cutting-edge and efficient.To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. With at least 8 years of experience in software testing, particularly in automation, you should have demonstrated leadership in ERP test automation projects, especially SAP.Your skills should include hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
