Job Description

    As a Ventures Associate at Plug and Play in the Crypto & Digital Assets vertical, your primary role will involve sourcing and leading investments, supporting enterprise partners, and contributing to the growth of the Crypto & Digital Assets Vertical.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Investment Sourcing** - Source startups within the crypto and digital asset vertical - Develop investment theses on emerging trends in the crypto space - Schedule and lead pitch calls and meetings with relevant companies - Build and maintain strong relationships with crypto VCs and industry partners - Actively network with founders, investors, and potential partners at industry events and conferences- **Investment Due Diligence** - Analyze companies ranging from Pre-Seed to Series A in the blockchain, crypto, and digital assets space - Create investment memos and investment summary reports for executive decision-makers - Run financial analysis on startups historical data and projections - Coordinate with startups to collect necessary due diligence information - Provide insights and advice to assist with investment decisions - Manage the due diligence process between internal teams, startups, corporate ventures, and external consultants- **Corporate Account Management** - Support enterprise partners in the crypto & digital assets vertical - Create collections of relevant startups to address enterprise partners business needs - Schedule and facilitate meetings between startups and corporate partners - Perform operational work to support the vertical team and Plug and Play Ventures- **Drive Corporate Partnerships** - Develop and execute business development and corporate market research programs - Collaborate with the Vertical Director and Ventures to close corporate membership contracts - Develop presentations and proposals for prospects showcasing Plug and Plays advantages**Qualifications Required:**- **Skills & Abilities** - Communication skills (verbal and written) with proficiency in public speaking - Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities - Self-starter with the ability to initiate projects independently - Technical fluency in GSuite, MS Office, CRM platforms, etc. - Team player with the capacity to build relationships and contribute to high-impact results - Passion for technology, entrepreneurship, investments, and high-tech startups - Project management skills to handle multiple ongoing projects- **Education & Experience** - BS/BA in a relevant degree (e.g., economics, computer science, finance) - Relevant work experience (e.g., investment banking, consulting, startup operations) - Knowledge and expertise in blockchain technology is highly desirableIn addition, all applications must be submitted in English.
