Job Description

Overall Objectives of Job:This job role for a technical analyst in the Digital Interaction Platform and Operations team focuses on implementing and promoting best practices around SecDevOps (Security, Test Automation, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Containerization), building cloud-native and DevOps-enabled scalable solutions to business problems. Responsibilities include managing daily product build and releases, managing CPI (Change, Problem, and Incident) coordination for all customers of Digital Interaction operations, providing application-level support for all customers of Frontend portals, build pipeline, monitoring all environments and coordinating issues with external vendors, operational improvements, performance analysis, optimization, and automation.Duties and ResponsibilitiesList in order of importance and state approximate weightage accorded to each.

1. Design and Build cloud native solutions for the business, Implementing and Promoting best practices around SecDevOps, Continuous integration and continuous delivery, Monitoring, AutomationWeightage: 60 PERCENT
2. Product configuration, Operational improvements, Operational support, managing environmentsWeightage: 20 PERCENT
3. Application release and deployments, performance analysis, and optimizationWeightage: 20 PERCENT

Qualification, Experience and Skills

• An academic degree in the areas of Engineering or computer science, business informatics, or similar professional experience.
• Around 4-5 years of experience as a software developer or DevOps engineer.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Agile mindset & self-learning capability.
• Been promoting and establishing software craftsmanship.
• Built, designed, and prototyped cloud-native and DevOps-enabled scalable solutions to business problems.
• To partner with Product Owners to align the roadmap with the technical design and the IT strategy of the Allianz Group.
• To develop and manage effective collaborative relationships with other departments, groups, peers, and customers (business, security, infrastructure).
• To implement and promote best practices around SecDevOps (Security, Test Automation, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Containerization).
• To drive the digital transformation of the Allianz Group in a community-based approach (meetups, engineering guild).
• To collaborate in a solid and deescalating way in task force situations.
• Understanding of building stable and resilient architectures.
• Deep knowledge in Linux Operating System.
• Excellent programming (scripting, OOP) & logical skills.
• Thorough knowledge of Web Server architecture and configuration including Virtual Hosting and redirection.
• Ability to work autonomously and with high engagement.
