As a Project Architect, Product & Interior Designer at Bichli Haveli Project x MLIME in Udaipur, Rajasthan, you will be part of a team that embraces a research-minded, detail-oriented, and material-based approach to conservation and adaptive re-use. You are expected to bring a playful, joyful, curious, and committed attitude to the project, where boundaries between studio, office, and site are fluid. Your role will involve working closely with skilled masons, undertaking rigorous prototyping and testing of specifications, with a focus on stone, lime, and more.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the construction site team for seamless coordination- Innovate fabrication, specifications, and SOP for various processes such as building electrical switchboards, stone joinery, and lime concretes- Engage with external vendors to ensure project requirements are met- Brainstorm spatial and interior concepts to enhance design outcomes- Translate concept sketches into fabrication drawings, ensuring accurate execution on-siteQualifications Required:- Degree in B.Arch, B.Design, or similar field- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience- Proficiency in sketching and basics of CAD & SketchUpThe project at Bichli Haveli Project x MLIME is currently focused on interior fit-outs, with an emphasis on electricals, lime plasters & surfaces, toilets, and built-in furniture. The heavy civil work and structural aspects have been completed, providing an opportunity to contribute to the finishing details and aesthetic elements.If you are passionate about contributing to innovative design solutions and have a keen eye for detail, this role offers the flexibility to evolve and expand your scope of work based on your interests and experiences.
