Job Description

As an Odoo Developer at BXI Technologies, your role will involve designing, developing, and deploying Odoo applications. You will work with the Odoo framework, customize modules, and integrate systems to deliver high-quality solutions. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be crucial in optimizing application performance and ensuring system stability.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain custom Odoo modules across various versions, with a focus on v13 and above.- Customize existing Odoo applications to align with specific business requirements.- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and enhance system scalability.- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, and technical documentation.- Collaborate with functional consultants, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.- Manage Odoo server environments, configurations, and deployments using Odoo.sh, on-premise, or Docker.- Facilitate data and module migrations between different Odoo versions.- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 4-7 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development, encompassing backend and frontend aspects.- Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, XML, HTML, and CSS.- Familiarity with Odoo ORM, QWeb reports, and module inheritance.- Knowledge of Linux environments, Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.- Understanding of Odoos functional modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, Manufacturing, and CRM.- Strong debugging and analytical abilities.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with multi-company/multi-currency implementations.- Exposure to frontend frameworks like Vue.js or React.Joining BXI Technologies will allow you to:- Lead innovation in AI, Cloud, and Cybersecurity alongside esteemed partners.- Contribute to a forward-thinking team that drives digital transformation.- Access cutting-edge technologies and continuous learning opportunities.- Benefit from competitive compensation and performance-based incentives.- Enjoy a flexible and dynamic work environment based in India.BXI Tech is a purpose-driven technology company that focuses on engineering, AI, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions.
