Job Description

As an experienced data scientist, your role at the organization will involve actively supporting the philosophy, values, and key strategic initiatives. You will be expected to drive innovation and team performance, focusing on objectives and targets. Your responsibilities will include innovating solutions using Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions. Additionally, you will fulfill requirements set by Group Leader and Team Leader within specific Research Projects.Key Responsibilities:- Execute and manage advanced analytics and data science projects, with a focus on data visualization and machine learning model development and deployment.- Implement and manage ETL processes to ensure efficient extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources.- Ensure data quality and accuracy in all analytical processes.- Use programming and scripting skills to automate processes, enhance effectiveness, and productivity using tools like R, Perl, Bash, Python, JAVA, and mySQL.- Utilize statistical techniques and machine learning models to analyze large datasets with software such as Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow) and R.- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize data and communicate findings to stakeholders.- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data science projects.- Work closely with cross-functional teams to address business requirements.- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Develop and implement algorithms for predictive modeling of agrochemical-based active ingredients.- Participate in the assessment and introduction of new data technology supporting digitalization and automation efforts.- Carry out advanced statistical analysis in combination with machine learning and artificial intelligence.- Update yourself with new tools for digitization and data analytics through literature and conferences.Educational Qualifications:- PhD or Masters in data science, statistics, computational sciences, informatics, or related discipline from a reputed University or Institute in India or overseas with excellent academic credentials.- Experience in creating interactive dashboards/data apps, AI/ML model building, cloud platforms, and big data analytics platforms.- Appreciation for high-quality research publications and/or patents.Experience Required:- Over 3 years of experience in relevant industries or high-ranking academic institutes handling scientific data to support, improve, and direct design in drug discovery, exploration, and optimization in life sciences.- Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.- Experience in predictive modeling, statistics, and machine learning to extract insights from structured and unstructured data.- Proficiency in Power BI and creating interactive dashboards.- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages like R, Perl, Bash, Python, JAVA, mySQL for building efficient AI/ML applications.- Familiarity with Cloud (AWS), HPC servers on LINUX/UNIX environment, big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and CI/CD tools and practices.- Ability to communicate technical results to non-statisticians.- Experience in agro-chemical space would be an additional advantage.If you are interested in this challenging opportunity, please share your resume directly at hidden_email an experienced data scientist, your role at the organization will involve actively supporting the philosophy, values, and key strategic initiatives.
