Job Description

    As a Senior Payroll & HR Operations expert, your role is crucial in ensuring the success of the organization by managing risk, optimizing performance, and driving profitability for institutional investors globally. You will be instrumental in providing cutting-edge solutions, maintaining resilience, and delivering day-to-day tasks efficiently.**Key Responsibilities:**- Serve as a subject matter expert in payroll processing and HR lifecycle processes across different regions- Rotate between various teams, tasks, and responsibilities based on organizational needs- Handle assigned payroll activities accurately and efficiently while complying with legislative requirements- Verify payroll input and output data for accuracy, reconcile reports, and ensure dual checks before submission- Conduct statutory reporting on social security, taxes, and regulatory obligations- Support SOX and other audits, perform HR administrative activities, and build strong relationships within the organization and with vendors- Manage employee queries related to payroll and HR operations, prepare and distribute reports, and research best practices for process improvement- Mitigate risks by documenting end-to-end operating processes and ensuring compliance**Qualifications:**- University degree in HR/finance/accounting preferred- 5 years of experience in global payroll operations with expertise in controls, regulations, tax compliance, and outsourced providers- Proficiency in HR lifecycle operations, English, and legal regulations of global payrolls- Ability to adapt to changing environments, support multiple global locations, and demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills- Advanced skills in MS Excel, knowledge of HRIS and payroll systemsAs part of State Street, you will contribute to one of the worlds largest custodian banks, asset managers, and asset intelligence companies.
