You will have the opportunity to discuss details in the interview.About the role:Manager of a specialized function within Global R&D focused on software development. Devotes a portion of time to managerial, leadership, and staff development responsibilities. Accomplishes results through lower level subordinate supervisors or through experienced professional employees who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments. Monitors progress toward departmental goals; monitors costs of projects and of human and material resources within a department or unit; monitors external environment in area of technical or professional responsibility. Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Often heads a centralized functional activity.Youre Responsibilities include:

• Leads a group or team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals. Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports, and if applicable, drive those practices throughout their organization.
• Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
• Promotes the attainment of group goals by selecting, motivating, and training capable staff. Provides leadership to assigned units by communicating and providing guidance towards achieving group objectives.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements).
• Assists in and/or manages functional deliverables and ensures technical excellence for product or technical development.
• Leads technical advancement projects.
• Provides guidance and approval regarding technical strategies and approaches.
• Ensures continued intellectual property development from self and staff.
• Assists in and/or completes the development of budgets and monitors spending.
• Assists in identifying and developing department tools.
• Assists in and/or determines appropriate staff levels, schedules and resources. Works with project managers to understand priorities and plans resource and time allocation accordingly.
• Collaboratively determines project staff assignments and schedules work to meet completion dates and R&D deliverables.
• Maintains and enhances cross-functional team relationships.
• Works cross-functionally in identifying and resolving technical issues.
• Monitors and evaluates project and department progress and results.

What were looking for:

• Licenciature degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electronic, Electrical, Computer Science, Industrial Maintenance.
• English Level desired: 90 PERCENT -95 PERCENT
• Experience: At least 7 years
• Experience in the medical industry
• Technical Competencies: Design control methods such as Risk Analysis (dFMEA, pFMEA), Design Validation and Verification plans, protocol and report generation, PDP/TDP system.
