Job Description

    Role- District Sales Manager (North & East) Location - Delhi Essential Duties, Critical Success Factors, Responsibilities, Authorities and Required Interactions: Lead and drive sales development and achievement to ensure assigned sales targets and initiatives are met or exceeded. Lead team to support company goals, brand goals, gross profit and target goals by working closely with all Phenomenex departments.
    • Ensure highest level of customer satisfaction
    • Recruit, interview, hire, train, manage and support various sales team members who contribute to excellence and make daily contributions to customer satisfaction.
    • Drive Value Selling Culture at all levels through innovative solution selling approach along with a culture of candidness, dignity and transparency throughout the District.
    • Develop a strong leadership within team by implementing MSCRM which would result in improving Core Opportunities; observe customers and gain insights beyond VOC; encourages team to pool their insights to resolve if there are new data to consider, to drive business growth
    • Ensure assigned district meets or exceeds sales and gross profit goals targets.
    • Prioritizes coaching and performance management efforts to achieve maximum impact on results.
    • Develop strategic business plans with supporting market intelligence to ensure future growth in assigned District.
    • Actively participate as a member of sales management team to ensure company-wide sales performance, drive effective and positive company culture, and motivate all staff
    • Coach and empower Sales Associate team members to exceed expectations through ongoing development of accolade / incentive programs, team activities and one-on-one mentoring.
    • To succeed you will need to have a positive attitude, be a team player, and strive to learn and contribute to company culture. We will also ask to complete assigned learning plan. Data is very important to us therefore, you will manage and maintain information in our CRM. You may also be asked to perform other job-related duties as requested by customers and/or management. Most of all we are looking for professionals with solid understanding of chromatography as well as clear and concise style of communication!

    • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% per month
    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
    • Bachelors/Master s degree or Ph. D degree in Science/ Life Science preferred
    • Requires analytical thinking and presenting ideas
    • Sound judgment and reasoning
    • Provides leadership and able to empower, direct, and lead others
    • Extremely skilled in the art of negotiations
    • Extensive knowledge of Chromatography industry
    • Strong organizations skills, plans and assigns resources in detailed fashion
    • At least five (5) years of experience in sales and chemistry, biochemistry and Biology, Chemical Engineering or other equivalent science
