Job Description

    As an Assistant Service Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the EV service department. Your strong understanding of electric vehicles (EVs) will be vital in ensuring a high level of efficiency and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day operations of the EV service department, ensuring smooth workflow.- Greet and assist customers, schedule service appointments, and listen to their concerns.- Provide accurate service estimates and explain repair details clearly to customers.- Collaborate closely with EV-certified technicians for proper diagnosis and timely completion of work.- Monitor service workflow to maintain efficiency and quality standards.- Assist with warranty claims and ensure accurate documentation.- Stay updated on EV technologies, recalls, and manufacturer service bulletins.- Resolve customer issues promptly and escalate complaints to the Service Manager when needed.- Help in training service advisors and technicians on EV-specific service procedures.- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, especially regarding high-voltage systems.Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors degree preferred).- 3 years of automotive service experience (EV experience preferred).- Previous experience as a service advisor or assistant service manager is advantageous.- Strong knowledge of EV systems, diagnostics, and service procedures.- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.- Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and EV service software.- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.In addition to the job responsibilities and qualifications, the company offers competitive benefits including:- Competitive salary with performance bonuses.- Health insurance coverage.- Paid time off, holidays, and ongoing EV training for professional development.Please note that the work location for this position is in person.
