Civil Design Engineer (Steel Plant)

Job Description

As a Civil Engineer at the steel plant located in Ingur, Erode, Tamil Nadu, your role will involve designing, planning, project management, supervision, site analysis, surveying, ensuring structural integrity and safety, as well as handling maintenance and upgrades. You should possess a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (a Masters degree is preferred for advanced roles) along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in the industrial or manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities:- Design and Planning: You will be responsible for designing structures within the steel plant, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.- Project Management and Supervision: You will oversee projects from inception to completion, coordinating with various teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.- Site Analysis and Surveying: Conduct site analysis, survey the land, and assess the environmental impact to determine the feasibility of construction projects.- Structural Integrity and Safety: Ensure that all structures within the steel plant meet safety regulations and maintain structural integrity.- Maintenance and Upgrades: Manage the maintenance schedule of existing structures and plan for upgrades as necessary to enhance efficiency and safety.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred for advanced roles)- Minimum 3 years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in the industrial or manufacturing sector- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, or other relevant structural analysis software- Strong understanding of steel structures, construction practices, materials science, and civil engineering principles- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing technical reports and presentationsPlease note that candidates located in the Erode area are preferred for this position.
