Job Description

Role Overview:You will be responsible for supporting management and driving financial processes effectively for the assigned role, while being a solution provider to the team.Key Responsibilities:- Responsible for the delivery and supervision of day-to-day operations.- Support various accounting, reporting, and tax initiatives across the finance function.- Ensure adequate compliance support to avoid any risks by proactive validation and checks in the process.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.- IFRS Diploma is a preferred education.- Major accounting qualification such as CA/CMA/CS is preferred.- 6 years of progressive work-related experience in accounting and finance.- 1 year of demonstrated experience in people management.- Sound communication skills: verbal and written.- Expert Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles / IFRS / Local GAAP.- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of PeopleSoft/Essbase or other enterprise financial systems and Microsoft Office.- Sound understanding of the key policies impacting the process.- Sound clarity on Controls applicable to the process.- Ability to guide the team by providing effective solutions through expert knowledge.Additional Company Details:At IHG Hotels & Resorts, you will work together to deliver True Hospitality for Good on a global scale.
