Job Description

As an Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis at our company, you will be reporting to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and play a crucial role in various accounting and finance functions. Your primary responsibility will be to support the statutory reporting of the company and actively engage in planning, forecasting, and analysis activities to drive overall business performance. You will collaborate closely with senior management teams in Finance and the Business to ensure the financial forecast, in-year financial estimates, and capital planning process are effectively managed.**Key Responsibilities:**- Develop and construct financial models to facilitate the annual budget, multi-year projection, and monthly rolling forecast.- Collaborate with the business to establish key assumptions underlying financial models for the annual budgeting cycle and monthly forecast.- Create ad hoc financial models and analyses to support operating business and strategic initiatives.- Offer decision support analysis to business partners on product and customer profitability, pricing analysis, etc.- Prepare monthly variance analysis and revenue analysis, post journal entries, and reconcile GL accounts.- Assist in month-end activities and monitor KPIs and dashboards for practice areas.- Develop operational reporting for business review to inform forecasts and performance.- Provide decision-making support through business cases and prioritization of key decisions.- Manage the business case process and post-mortem reviews.- Interpret key business drivers, identify issues, and make recommendations as needed.- Prepare yearly forecasts for presentation to the Board and collaborate with divisional finance teams for financial reporting and analysis.- Assist in the annual audit and support accounting team members.- Conduct ad-hoc financial and capital analysis as required.**Qualifications Required:**- Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance planning and analysis.- Proficiency in SaaS and financial concepts such as MRR, NRR, Churn, Bookings, and Backlog.- Strong Excel skills including financial modeling, IFS, LOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Index & Match.- Experience with Power BI is advantageous.- University degree, CPA designation, and/or MBA.- Familiarity with accounting software like Microsoft NAV (or equivalent).- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.- Ability to work independently, well-organized, and proactive.- Experience in working for a Multi-National Corporation.- Excellent analytical, communication, and attention to detail skills.In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the financial planning and analysis function of the company and work closely with key stakeholders to drive business success.
