Job Description

You will be responsible for designing and delivering the Media Shala curriculum for students from grades 6 to 12. Additionally, you will need to aid in setting up Media Shala Hubs in schools, including stock planning, procurements, and resource planning as needed. Conducting classes for various verticals such as Journalism, Photography, Film Making, Podcasting, and Graphic Design according to school slots will be part of your duties. You will also need to plan and execute regular learning workshops and programs at Media Shala and Express Programs at different hubs based on the requirements. Developing and curating engaging media projects with students, liaising with industry experts for talks or internships, and mentoring the Media Shala Club of senior students are also key responsibilities. Moreover, you will mentor student participation in media-related competitions, create content for Media Shalas social footprint, and handle video editing and creation of short-form digital videos for branding campaigns and big school events. Managing the Media Shala Lab operations and equipment, sharing knowledge, staying updated with industry innovations, and contributing towards central projects as required are part of the role.Qualifications Required:- Postgraduate in any discipline with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the media industry- Experience in digital AV production, photography/filmmaking, content writing, video editing, and basic design knowledge- A degree in media studies and teaching experience will be advantageous You will be responsible for designing and delivering the Media Shala curriculum for students from grades 6 to 12.
